Good evening,
I don't understand electrical engineering. If I connect active pickups passively, do they perform just as well? or do I nullify the pickup's qualities? I liked the price and wanted to upgrade my guitar, which is very beginner-grade, and I wanted a more metal sound. So I was in doubt about these pickups or that Jackson Warrior. I had a chinese telecaster guitar jim root copy and it had emg copy passive they sounded good. If the Jackson Warriors are sure to get a much bigger response, then I'll stick with them. Thanks.
