The DiMarzio Evolution® Neck Humbucker Guitar Pickup is a vibrant and expressive replacement pickup for the electric guitar. Using high quality Ceramic magnets and DiMarzio's patented Dual Resonance coils, the Evolution® Neck delivers a punchy, dynamic tone with rich harmonic overtones, perfect for most styles of rock and metal. This pickup is uncovered with Black coils, and features "F-spaced" pole pieces to suit Fender® guitars and other instruments with wider string spacing.

Full Description
The DiMarzio Evolution® Neck Pickup is a medium output pickup designed for the neck position of solid-body guitars, and truly shines when paired with the Evolution® Bridge. However, it is also effective in the bridge position when used alongside a lower-output neck pickup, and even works well in most semi-hollow body guitars.
Patented Dual Resonance Coils
Due to imperfect winding techniques, authentic vintage humbuckers typically had a different number of windings in each of their two coils. The differences in output between the coils gave these pickups richer harmonics and greater clarity, but also made them less effective at cancelling hum than pickups with evenly matched coils. To provide the best of both worlds, DiMarzio's patented Dual Resonance coils feature equal windings but are tuned to different frequencies, providing the same lush overtones without compromising hum cancellation.
