(unstable/ maybe faulty) Sapphire AMD RX 7900 XT Reference GPU

(unstable/ maybe faulty) Sapphire AMD RX 7900 XT Reference GPU (unstable/ maybe faulty) Sapphire AMD RX 7900 XT Reference GPU Graphics Cards

Item is strictly sold as is, no returns.
23/8/26: Card has been used daily since beginning of July 2026 with no issues so far, there seems to be an occasional flash of gray on the lower half of the screen, similar to picture 10, but only on the bottom half for half a second when browsing the web

This GPU had issues back in June 2025 around when I bought it, I had repasted it with PTM7950 a week prior to this issue, it crashed and wouldn't POST and only showed a VGA light.

In February 2026, I tested the card and it worked again and well under GPU stress tests and had equal performance before comparing my screenshots on Cyberpunk and 3dmark scores
A few days later it froze and showed a gray screen with 4 vertical blue lines. And showed the same red VGA light as in June

More recently, in 2/7/26, I did a VRAM test and have been using it daily with no problems so far

It may work fine on another PC but I haven't tried it,

Attached are photos of the card reopened after I repasted it back in June 2025, it seems to be okay, no burn marks or anything.
2 missing non essential screws, see pics

No worries, I understand. I’m too far away for local collection, so I’ll leave it for now. If you change your mind about €300 shipped with tracking and buyer protection, let me know.

@AdsByMaurice: I'm going to pass on 300 for now as it's lower than I'm looking to take, and I'd prefer local collection for buyer's peace of mind

€300 OFFERED
I do like the card, but the previous instability note makes it a risk for me, especially remotely. I could stretch to €300, provided you can show a current stable test and arrange tracked shipping with buyer protection.

@AdsByMaurice Your offer is understandable but I'm sorry I can't do that unfortunately

€275 OFFERED
Thanks for the update. I see you’ve been using it since the 2 July VRAM test, but given the previous crash/no-boot cycle and the fact I’m in Galway and would need it posted, I can offer €275 plus tracked postage with buyer protection. That’s my limit while it’s still listed as unstable/maybe faulty.

@webblade: Hopefully it has been solved, but the only 'fix' I've done has just been leaving it for months without use as I haven't had time until recently along with another gpu, who knows 😅

Good man I think you've solved the problem 👍
You should rethink your price it's worth a bit more when not faulty

I have been using this card every day since my VRAM test on July 2nd, and gaming a few days a week, no problems so far.

@wabco Sorry for the late response but looking for closer

Also as a general comment for the ad, I've hooked up the GPU and installed drivers, booted as normal.
And I am running a VRAM OCCT test for 1 hour will update on the results.

@webblade Sorry no I haven't I've been busy, my PC hasn't been used in months, after July I will have time to do all this if that's okay 👍

Did you ever get to run OCCT on it?
