Vintage 1970s Large Lapis Lazuli 18ct White Gold Ring

For sale is a stunning lapis lazuli retro ring dating from the 1970s.

The ring is set with a large oval, cabochon cut, lapis lazuli gemstone, weighing approx. 12ct and measuring 20mm x 13mm but what makes this ring special is the magnificent basket weave 18ct white gold band.

The entire ring is carved and pierced into a basket weave design and the white gold offset the stunning vivid blue lapis lazuli perfectly.

This is a big chunky ring and weighs 14.3g!!

The finger size is quote small being a size K and could be re-sized up or down but they may not be able to replicate the basket weave design in the new section if sized up.

The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct white gold and has a really unusual makers mark which I can't quite make out but the ring is in the style of Kutchinsky or George Weil

A stunning statement piece and like most of our rings, once gone, there is rare another.
