Chunky Retro Tourmaline/Rubellite Ring - 18ct White Gold

For sale is a beautiful futuristic ring dating from around the 1970/80s.

The ring is set with a large cabochon cut pink tourmaline set in a collet setting and raised above a think and chunky 18ct white gold band.

The setting and design is very retro and futuristic with the cabochon cut stone set in polished 18ct white gold setting and the gold on the band has a fantastic satin finish.

The tourmaline has the usual natural inclusions within the stone and adds to the futuristic feel.

This is a lovely chunky retro ring that weighs 11.8g and the finger size is an L and can easily be re-sized up or down to suit any finger.

The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold and is also signed but I cannot quite make out the makers mark.
