On BERG pedal go-karts, BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel, and Reverse. It is a patented drive system that lets you use the pedals to go forward, brake by pedaling backward, coast without the pedals spinning, and immediately drive in reverse after coming to a stop.
How the BFR System Works
* Brake: Push backward on the pedals to slow down and stop smoothly.
* Freewheel: Keep your feet still on the pedals while the go-kart keeps moving forward by itself.
* Reverse: Pedal backward right after stopping to move backward automatically.
