Waddingtons Monopoly c.1957-59 COMPLETE - Original 1950s Vintage Set + Factory Slips

Genuine original 1950s Waddingtons Monopoly — complete early long-box edition.

A particularly interesting early British Monopoly dating to approximately 1957–1959, identified by its distinctive long red/white/red Waddingtons box, steam locomotive artwork and Trade Mark 711981.

The set is complete and retains an unusually good collection of original period material.

The factory slips are especially interesting. They are headed:

John Waddington Ltd.
Playing Card and Games Division
Wakefield Road, Leeds 10

and retain their original Packer’s Reference Numbers, including 3134 MS and 11.

The board and rules carry Trade Mark 711981, while the original box retains the characteristic Waddingtons steam locomotive artwork of the early long-box editions.

Condition

Very good vintage condition considering its age, with normal age/storage wear to the box and components.

Complete set — all major game components present.
