Chad Valley Beetle Game c.1950s COMPLETE - Original Box - Black Beetle Set

Original Chad Valley Beetle Game from the 1950s — COMPLETE.

A very nice surviving early example of this classic British game, retaining the original yellow/red Chad Valley box, numbered internal component tray and original instructions.

The game contains four complete beetle colour sets:

🔴 Red
🔵 Light Blue
🟢 Green
⚫ Black

The black set is an interesting feature of this particular example. Different colour combinations are found among surviving early Chad Valley Beetle games, so I have photographed and identified the actual colours rather than assuming a standard modern colour set.

The internal tray is especially good, retaining the original numbered storage system for the six different beetle components.

The game is from the 1950s early-production period, rather than the later 1960s examples that are also found on the market.

Condition: Very good vintage condition for age, with normal age-related wear to the box. Please see photographs carefully.
