A genuine mid-century modern floor lamp, dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s, featuring a striking bobbin-turned solid wood column with original chrome collar detailing — a classic hallmark of British MCM lighting.


The lamp is constructed from solid hardwood with repeated stacked bobbin sections, giving strong vertical rhythm and sculptural presence. It stands on a heavy, stepped circular base, providing excellent stability. Clean, well-balanced proportions typical of post-war British interior design.


Fully functional and tested. The lamp is shown with a new lamp shade


Condition:
