Gold severum, a South American cichlid needing a new home. It is a beautiful fish but has grown too big for my tank. It is intense yellow-orange colour (photos don't capture it well enough), length about ~15 cm (could be slightly bigger, it is difficult to measure), and healthy. This fish is omnivorous and likes to dig so the new aquarium will have to facilitate this to keep the fish happy.
This fish is the Wow! of every aquarium and am really sad to let it go. I will not allow this fish to end up in butcher's hands so I reserve the right to quiz the potential buyer about aquarium maintenance and I will decline a deal if I have a suspicion the fish will be mistreated. @dr17 JFC... I am the guy with a paranoia? 😂 I have just had a video call with an interested party. We shared videos of our faces, introduced ourselves, showed each other our aquariums, and discussed Severum's needs. In the mean time you just got weird. Am not interested in your house mate. The fish's wellbeing is the most important to me. I think it is a quite clear message in my ad.

@dr17 I have never asked to see your house buddy. You are dishonest. I need to ensure the fish will not end up in a tiny fishbowl on someone's kitchen cabinet. It is mind boggling that you have a problem with understanding this.

How did i refuse ?? You accepted my request and that was all I heard from you, you never asked me or requested me to call you, I have over 1200 litres of water in 3 tanks I have running, im confused the way you are carrying on now to be honest ?

@amy.orafferty Gold severum is a peaceful cichlid and generally lives well with other fish. Malawi cichlids, on the other hand, are generally aggressive and territorial. Depends on which malawi cichlids are in the tank, Mbuna for example is very aggressive, and tank size and setup. Therefore, there could be problems. Difficult to be certain.
