Filtrax NO3 is a chemical filtration medium designed to absorb nitrate ions (NO3-) from aquarium water. It uses a highly specialised, selective anion exchanger in chloride form, helping reduce nitrate levels without the need for inconvenient water changes.

How it works

Intended for picking up unfavourable nitrate ions in an aquarium, also in the presence of other anions (e.g. sulphate anions). During ion exchange, nitrate ions in aquarium water are replaced with chloride ions of the anion exchanger.

- One flow bag removes not less than 20 g of nitrate (NO3-)

Reusable

- Flow bags can be regenerated in a solution of table salt and reused many times
