Zoolek Filtrax NH3 500g - Ammonium and Ammonia Remover Filter Media

Zoolek Filtrax NH3 is an active filtration medium for absorption of ammonium compounds. It contains an aluminosilicate sorbent with a high ability to bind ammonium cations NH4+. When water pH rises above 7, ammonium cations can turn into free ammonia NH3, which is toxic to fish. Using Filtrax NH3 helps reduce this risk and also lowers the chance of forming further nitrogen transformation products, including toxic nitrites and nitrates that promote algae growth.

How to use

Rinse the media bag under running tap water before use to remove dust that could make the aquarium water cloudy. Place the soaked bag in the filter between the inserts that mechanically clean the water.
