UST-M Inline Water Softening Filter 1/4" Thread - Ion Exchange
UST-M inline softening filter designed to reduce water hardness. Used as an in line cartridge in filtration and RO setups where softer water is required.
Ion exchange softening
The filter softens water by ion exchange. Calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions.
In favourable conditions, it can reduce total hardness (GH) to very low values, even close to 0. The achieved result depends on input water parameters and the capacity of the ion exchange media.

- In line water filtration systems
- RO water setups as an additional stage where softening is required
