SICCE Shark PRO 900 is the highest-capacity model in the Shark PRO range, designed for aquariums from 180 to 260 litres. It offers a maximum flow rate of 900 l/h and a complete mechanical, biological and chemical filtration system.

The filter has been designed for high performance and easy maintenance. The MCS, Magnet Connecting System, uses a magnetic connection between the motor head and the filtration modules, allowing individual components to be quickly disconnected for cleaning.

The strong magnetic mounting system provides secure installation on aquarium glass up to 12 mm thick.

Modular Filtration System

The Shark PRO 900 offers a filtration volume of 930 cm³ and a sponge surface area of 300 cm².

Standard filter media include:

• 2 side sponges, 20 ppi + 1 sponge, 30 ppi for mechanical filtration
• 2 side sponges, 20 ppi + 1 cartridge filled with BIOPEARL for biological filtration
• 2 side sponges, 20 ppi + 1 cartridge filled with ZEROPHOS for chemical filtration

The different sponge densities effectively trap mechanical debris. BIOPEARL provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria involved in biological filtration, while ZEROPHOS helps reduce phosphate levels in the water.

Each module has independent water inlets, helping to maintain an even water flow and reduce the risk of clogging.

The internal cartridges can be refilled with suitable filter media. The system can also be expanded with up to 2 additional filtration modules, allowing you to increase the overall filtration capacity or use extra biological, chemical or specialised filter media.

Adjustable Flow and Aeration

The Shark PRO 900 allows you to customise water circulation according to the needs of your aquarium.

The filter is equipped with:

• flow regulation knob
• sliding flow selector
• multidirectional flow deflector
• integrated Spray Bar
• Venturi aeration system
• Venturi silencer with adjustable air intake

This allows you to control both the intensity and direction of the water flow while helping to improve water oxygenation.

Flexible Installation

The filter can operate in both vertical and horizontal positions. The filtration modules can be rotated using the base mounting system, making it easier to adapt the filter to the aquarium layout.

Horizontal installation also makes the Shark PRO 900 suitable for paludariums and tanks with a reduced water level.
