Seachem Tidal 35 Cascade Outdoor Filter for Aquariums up to 130L

Features:

Ventilation slots in the filter cover and aeration grooves in the outlet ensure full oxygenation of the water returning to the tank and maximize gas exchange during filtration.


Flow from the bottom up

The pump pumps water upward into the filter basket, flows through the bottom of the basket and is pushed upward. Bottom-up flow ensures that the water is in contact with all the filter media and cannot flow past the filter media, as in backward hanging filters with back-to-front flow.


Maintenance indicator

Over time, filter media can become clogged with detritus, reducing or impeding the flow of water through it. When this happens with Tidal ™ filters, water is diverted around the filter back into the aquarium through a side outlet. The redirected water pushes a blue maintenance indicator on top of the filter, signaling that the filter needs cleaning.


Surface skimmer

The surface skimmer captures water just below the surface, where excreted fish oils accumulate, and also from deeper in the tank, removing floating debris.


Flow control

The water flow through the filter is regulated by a knob on the front.


No filter baskets

One filter basket has a huge capacity to hold the filter media of your choice in the configuration of your choice. All Tidal ™ filters come with a Seachem Matrix ™ biological cartridge to get you started immediately.


No mess when cleaning the filter

The basket is fully removable and snaps into the filter lid for easy transport to the sink without dripping water on the floor.
