Satus rapidly establishes and enhances aquarium biofilters, accelerating the maturation of new systems and preventing ‘new tank syndrome’ to create a safe environment for fish. It contains the innovative ‘Satus organism’, which quickly removes ammonia and breaks down organic waste under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions.

Alongside this, a concentrated blend of heterotrophic and autotrophic bacteria efficiently converts harmful ammonia and nitrite into less toxic nitrates without producing hydrogen sulphide. Harmless to all aquatic life and impossible to overdose, Satus should be used when starting a new aquarium, during water changes, and as part of regular maintenance—ideally in combination with Optimus for best results.
