NeoCaridina GH+ NEO RO water mineraliser – the ideal solution for Neocaridina shrimp
Contrary to the common belief that Neocaridina shrimp are extremely tolerant to water parameters and can be bred in tap water, the reality is more complex.
Tap water parameters, especially general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH),
vary significantly across Europe.
To address these challenges, the NeoCaridina GH+ NEO mineralisation system was developed, enabling precise water preparation using reverse osmosis (RO) water.

The GH+ NEO mineraliser is designed to increase the general hardness (GH) of RO water, providing ideal conditions for breeding Neocaridina shrimp.

The product is distinguished by its rapid dissolution and lack of insoluble sediments,
which makes the water preparation process extremely simple and effective.

In combination with the KH+ NEO mineraliser,
which increases carbonate hardness (KH) and stabilises pH,
the NeoCaridina GH+ KH+ mineralisation system allows for precise adjustment of water parameters, guaranteeing a stable and safe environment for shrimp.


Recommended water parameters:

Total hardness (GH): 9–10
Carbonate hardness (KH): 2–3
These values promote healthy shrimp development, proper moulting and vivid colours.


How to use
GH + NEO is a preparation designed for the mineralisation of RO (reverse osmosis) water for neocaridina shrimp.

GH+ NEO builds general hardness by providing essential minerals.
GH+ does not increase carbonate hardness (KH).
It contains essential minerals that build GH total hardness and ensure proper osmoregulation. GH + NEO should be used together with another preparation, KH+ NEO, to achieve the correct KH value.

10 ml of GH+ NEO added to 10 l of RO water gives 10 dGH and a conductivity of approx. H=600 uS net.
