Thanks to three sponges of different grades and the included bio-balls, it effectively traps dirt, sediment and organic waste, keeping your water clear for longer. The transparent housing makes it easy to assess how dirty the unit is, and cleaning is straightforward — the detachable valves allow you to disconnect the pre-filter without draining the aquarium.

With 16/22 mm and 16/20 mm connectors, FlowPure Pro fits most popular external filters. And if you have an external or inline water pump, you can use it on its own as a compact canister filter. Solid clips and the rubber gasket in the lid ensure a tight seal and convenient day-to-day use.

Flow rate requirements:
- It simply needs the correct hose diameter and a flow rate of at least 300 L/h and no more than 1500 L/h.

Which aquarium size?
- As a standalone filter (requires a separate water pump rated 300–1500 L/h), it can serve aquariums from 50 to 100 litres.
- As a pre-filter, it works best for aquariums from 70 to 120 litres.
