Two or three connectors — what does it mean?
As standard, the unit operates with two connectors — an inlet and an outlet — so it can be connected in a classic inline flow setup for an aquarium or pond.

A third connector?
Although normally covered with the included cap, it was designed for more. It’s a special solution compatible with most overflow (waterfall) filters used in garden ponds.

Thanks to this, you can integrate the unit directly with the filter, creating an efficient cleaning system that works without compromise — effective, clean and professional.

A set of hose connectors is included: small sizes for 16 mm and 20 mm (inner diameter) and larger sizes for 20/25/32/40 mm.

The unit is also fitted with a transparent connector featuring a small internal rotor that spins as water flows through it. It’s not only practical, but also a very satisfying detail — one glance is enough to know the steriliser is working and the water is circulating exactly as it should. That small movement confirms that the cleaning process is truly underway and gives you confidence that your aquarium or pond is on its way to ideal clarity.

A high-quality quartz sleeve protects the light source while allowing maximum UV transmission, which means excellent efficiency and safety. This helps the unit operate reliably for a long time and effectively — without losing cleaning performance.
