With the FZN PRO, you don’t have to wait long for the filter to reach full performance – it starts working as soon as it is connected and does not need to be filled with water beforehand. Plus, in case of a power supply interruption, the filter restarts immediately when the power is restored.

All FZN PRO models, except for the FZN PRO 400, have an adjustable intake pipe so that the length can be adjusted precisely to the aquarium- this is particularly useful for unusual aquarium sizes. A knob on the top of the casing enables you to smoothly adjust the performance of the filter – the round regulator can be used to set the ideal positioning and the correct water level.

A practical feature: the operation is very quiet because the motor of the FZN PRO is below the water surface. The largest model has a noise level of just 32 dB which is about the same as a quiet whisper. The filter outlet is flush with the water surface which creates a fine noise, without any bubbling. Furthermore, all contact points between the aquarium glass and the filter housing are covered with rubber to reduce vibration and prevent knocking or banging.

The filter chamber can be filled with filter media materials in layers, as is common in cascade filters.
