It features a built-in bubble counter, precision needle valve, check valve, and a pressure gauge indicating the gas pressure in the cylinder. The solenoid valve, when connected to a pH controller or computer equipped with a probe, can maintain a specific pH level in the aquarium. When connected to a simple timer switch, it can control CO₂ supply during specific periods, such as only during the day.

CO₂ Dosing:

CO₂ dosing depends on the size of the aquarium, the number of plants, and their requirements. The standard is 1 to 3 CO₂ bubbles per second. Accurate dosing requires knowledge of KH and pH values, which can be used together with CO₂ concentration charts available in aquarium literature and online to determine the optimal mgCO₂/l for planted tanks.
