The Vitcas Fire Resistant Vermiculite Board is available in two styles, brick effect or plain.
Fire Resistant Vermiculite Board is refractory to 1100°C with very good insulation properties. It’s applications include in fireplaces, stoves, heaters, boilers, vessels, tanks, or wood-fired ovens. Vermiculite is a naturally occurring non-toxic material. It contains no asbestos, which ensure it is not harmful to install. There are aluminium and magnesium silicate properties within. The board can be cut easily tools like a hand saw or a drill. Vermiculite Fire Resistant Boards can be sawn, drilled and sanded to suit the size that you need. The boards measure 100cm x 60cm x 2cm

Common uses for Fire Resistant Vermiculite Boards are as a heat shield. To replace a register plate above a free standing stove. Some customers replace firebricks for the inside of a stove.
