Linhof Technika IV 5x4 Camera

Model made in 1959 and it’s got a lot of cosmetic wear - see pictures. It’s been sitting in a studio unused for approximately 30 years and I don’t know where it was before then.

Leatherette is a tan colour and lifting in places. I’ve inspected the bellows and amazingly I can’t find any light leaks. This camera needs a proper cleaning- which I held back from doing as I didn’t want to cause any damage to it.

The focusing rails work smoothly, and the ground glass looks good to me. Mechanically it seems to be in working order.

Main issue for me with this camera is the cosmetic aspect and the grime it has accumulated so it needs some delicate care. Otherwise I think it’s in pretty good working order. I’m pricing it to reflect the cosmetic wear and work that needs to go into it.

Lens not included.

I’m not interested in swaps/trades etc. I do have a Technika III in black leather, in similar condition, which I will also be selling but that one definitely needs new bellows.
