Hardback copy of the first book from the Revelation Space Series by British author Alastair Reynolds. The book begins on the planet Resurgam in the Delta Pavonis System in the year 2551. Dan Sylveste is an archaeologist excavating the remains of the Amarantin race which were wiped after their Sun destroyed all life on the planet nearly a million years ago. He discovers that there is more that meets the eye to this cataclysmic event and it may not have been a natural catastrophe after all.

Revelation Space is a fine example of the 'space opera' subgenre of Science Fiction. It was shortlisted for the Arthur C. Clarke Award in 2001. Very rare in Ireland.

Condition: Very Good in a Good dust jacket (see photos). The jacket has minor wear including a crease on the spine and small scratch at top of title page. Both appear to have been covered over with black pen in an attempt to make them less obvious (book was originally purchased in this state). Edge wear also present. Book itself is Very Good, would be Fine if it were not for interior writing on the frontboard, text on the bottom book block as well as a stamp mark on page 51.
