Retro children’s / young adult (or nostalgic adult) horror book from the hugely popular 1990s Point Horror series written multiple authors such as RL Stine (Goosebumps).

‘The Kill’ is part of a trilogy with The Hunter and The Chase, focussing on the character of Jenny Thornton, a seventeen year old girl living in southern California. In need of a game for her boyfriend Tom Locke's birthday party, she is enticed by a mysterious young man with "electric" blue eyes and snow-white hair, Julian, into purchasing an unmarked and undecorated game from his "More Games" store. However, the game she buys turns out to be more than anyone expected.
