Aptimil pepti 1 is an extensively hydrolysed formula powder, suitable for dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy from birth.

The Cows milk protein is broken down and in many babies who have a sensitivity to cows milk the broken down protein in this formula does not cause a reaction. It is nutritional complete and suitable from birth.



This is not a cow milk free formula, it is broken down so that the immune system doesn't trigger a reaction.

From what I can see 10 percent of babies with CMPA will also not tolerate this and from what I have read is to purchase an amino based formula ( these can be bought over the pharmacy counter with or without prescription)
