Fibre Art necklace (West Cork Craft Guild)

This incredibly beautiful artistic fibre art necklace was crafted by West Cork-based feltmaker Christina Jasmin Roser in her studio on the Sheep's Head peninsula. The necklace is 2.6m long and is handfelted from the finest merino fibres (flowers) and crocheted in 100% mercerised cotton (cord).
Purchased at the RDS Craft Fair some years ago for its sheer beauty, the necklace has never since left its box and has remained in a drawer out of sunlight. It can be appreciated by displaying or worn over a summer wedding or party dress. I don't believe these pieces are available commercially anymore. This piece was expensive years ago and would cost north of €150 today. Sell €80. €75. Price drop to €70.
Christina Jasmin Roser was born in Copenhagen and moved to Ireland in 2007. She learned from the leading feltmakers all over Europe and has used those techniques to transform traditional felt-making into a sophisticated modern craft.
