Mini Cooper D Stage 1 Remap R56 (to 143bhp)

For anyone interested, I can provide a Stage One remap for your R56 (up to mid-2010) Mini Cooper D.

This will bring the car from 110hp to 143hp, a 30% increase. This will be felt everywhere from 1.7k rpm and make the car feel noticeably faster, more alive and, most important, way more fun to drive. They're already great fun to drive, but this will be a whole new level.

The price here is for the remap alone. I've priced it as affordably as possible. I will need the car for half a day as I run logs and work with the tuner, who is based in The Netherlands and has decades of tuning experience.
I am based near an Avoca and some lovely parks, so you'll have plenty to do as I work away.

If the car has not been serviced recently, it will need a full service: oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter. I can do this at an extra charge. I only use top parts (Castrol Edge, Mahle filters, etc.).

If the injector seals have not been replaced and the car is >200k km, then I recommend these are done. I can do them too. It's a quick job and not expensive at all (unless you already have 'injector black death' - look it up).

EGR and DPF deletes are also possible, but please note that it is illegal to use the car on public roads in Ireland and the power gains are close to zero (benefits are: slightly more responsive, cleaner internals and better on fuel).

For the ultimate set up on these cars, I recommend:
- Stage 1 remap
- 17 inch alloys with top-brand summer tyres
- High-carbon discs and EBC Red or Yellow Stuff front pads
- Suspension damper refresh if car has >200k km. Nothing fancy - just Bilstein B4's as no dampers last >200k km on Irish roads.
