Audi 2.7 Biturbo V6 Engine (ARE) - Major Overhaul, Refurbished Turbos (320HP+)

Breaking a 2000 Audi A6 C5 Allroad. For sale is the highly sought-after 2.7 Biturbo V6 engine (Engine Code: ARE). Fitted also in S4 B5.

Total chassis mileage is ~370,000km, but the engine underwent a massive, comprehensive engine-out overhaul at 320,000km (only 50k km driven since).

Tuner Verified Mechanical Health:
When this engine was being custom-mapped, the tuner specifically noted that the camshaft timing angles and phase deviation readings were incredibly tight and spot-on. He remarked that the mechanical health and valvetrain geometry are running significantly better than almost any other 2.7T of this age/mileage. It is an exceptionally strong, low-wear block.

Honest Current Status (Easy Fix Misfire):
Before beginning the teardown, the car developed a misfire specifically on Cylinder 6. It is highly likely just a standard coil pack, spark plug, or an ICM line needing a quick look. I have already replaced one of the ICM units recently, could be the other one.

I have a comprehensive VCDS diagnostic video showing the live data of the engine running right up until the end. Also how the engine is running on the outside. You can see the health of the blocks yourself—this minor misfire is the only issue. I can WhatsApp the video over to any serious buyer.

Timing & Cooling:

Full Premium Continental Timing Belt Kit (all belts and rollers).

Hepu Water Pump & Mahle 87°C Thermostat.

Continental Serpentine/V-Ribbed Belt & INA Belt Tensioner.

Engine Mounts & Turbos:

Lemförder hydraulic engine mounts (massive upgrade/eliminated vibration).

Fully refurbished and balanced K03 twin turbos.

2x Vaico Diverter/Bypass Valves.

Complete Top-to-Bottom Elring Reseal:

The engine is completely bone-dry. Replaced: Valve cover gaskets, cam chain tensioner gaskets, camshaft rear plugs, all 4 directional camshaft seals, and both front & rear crankshaft main seals.

All new manifold gaskets (Intake, Exhaust, Throttle Body) and new Victor Reinz high-temp turbo-to-manifold sealing rings.

Fuel & Ignition System:

6x NGK PFR6Q Laser Platinum Spark Plugs.

New Bosch Fuel Pressure Regulator & new Bosch injector O-ring seals.

Complete Vaico PCV system/crankcase breather assembly update.

New Hella Oil Pressure Sensor.

Drivetrain Extras: Includes a new Sachs clutch release bearing (fitted during the S4 B5 LuK clutch manual conversion).

Performance & Options:
Professionally mapped manual-drivetrain ECU to ~320HP. Can include the flashed ECU and complete engine loom for plug-and-play swapping.

Optional LPG Fuel Efficiency Bundle:
Can be sold as a package with the complete Romano LPG system (fully overhauled in 2022 and regularly serviced). Open to bundle offers.
