The Maker (Joseph Chaumet): A highly notable historical French jeweler using the "J C" initials inside a diamond lozenge is the prestigious house of Chaumet (Joseph Chaumet). this specific variation of the signature mark heavily places its production between the late 1800s (circa 1885) and approximately 1925–1930 during the late Victorian, Edwardian, or Art Deco eras. There’s a very faint “750” hallmark on the inside of the ring -it is a very old ring that has been worn and I’m happy to test it at any jewellery shop if more reassurance needed.
