Antique Art Deco Diamond Solitaire Ring - 18ct white Gold & Platinum

For sale is a very special diamond solitaire ring indeed, dating from around the 1920/30s

The ring is set in the centre with a fabulous old, transitional cut diamond held in a four claw setting within the most amazing art deco design, encrusted throughout with small diamonds.

The centre stone weighs approx. 0.55/0.6ct and is of the most spectacular quality. Extremely white in colour and completely clear. This diamond is undoubtedly from the old diamond mines and it has an almost white/blue colour.

The setting has has twisted and flowing triple ribbons of platinum, each encrusted with small diamonds and flowing up to the centre stone. The band then tapers thin to the base.

There are not many rings like this one!!! Once gone we rarely will have another.

The size of the ring is just perfect, it is not a big ring, not a massive diamond, it is a spectacular quality ring with a spectacular diamond and a beautiful design - that's what makes this ring, very special.

The finger size is a small size J and could be re-sized up or down but I wouldn't re-size it by a large amount. The ring has been re-sized at some point in its history and the sized over the hallmark but the ring has been fully tested for 18ct white gold and platinum.
