@DivStep Hi it’s about 9 years old, we didn’t use it as a heater, more a wall feature as was in our dining room. Please see reply
from Dimplex : So even if the heat element ages, the flame effect usually lasts much longer — these models are known for long lifespans (10–20+ years) if the motor and fan are still working.
The heating element is perfect
