Hello,

I’m not sure why Powercity would say that, but it’s not entirely correct.
In the event that repairs are required, it wouldn’t be powrcity carrying them out. It would be Dimplex. Dimplex specifically says in its terms that the warranty is not transferable.

But regardless of that, by purchasing the product from another consumer, I would automatically lose the rights I have under consumer protection law, including the protection that can extend for up to six years.

Saving €70 is just not worth the risk.

Hello again...checked in power city and they said that I could pass on warranty to you if you are still interested in price offered as it is already 70 euro less. What do you think. Its fair.

I apologise, I didn’t mean to offend you with my offer. From your perspective, I completely understand that your asking price may be fair.
But I have checked and the warranty is not transferable, which means I would be taking on some risk in case anything goes wrong.
My offer was based on taking that into consideration.
