Vintage 1978 Fender Musicmaster

Gorgeous and very cool vintage Fender Musicmaster in exceptional condition.

This beauty was made in 1978 and although almost 50 years old It is in remarkably good shape. The lovely factory black finish is super cool and looks six months old, never mind all of 48 years.

This was professionally set up recently and plays like a demon on a stunning rosewood fret board. Sounds great too and is surprisingly versatile for a one pickup guitar. A little roll off of the tone control takes it through quite a sonic range of classic Fender tones.

The Musicmaster is actually one of the oldest Fender models, introduced in 1956, just two years after the Strat and pre dates the Jazzmaster and Mustang models. The original Musicmasters were discontinued by Fender in 1982.

Both Rory Gallagher and Stevie Ray Vaughan played Musicmasters along with a long list of others including David Byrne and Liz Phair.

It's a great guitar for the money and a good investment.

It comes with a Fender gig bag.

Thanks
