Very rare Fender vintage replica

Very rare Vester Stratocaster that plays great and sounds superb.

This a Vester Traditional Series high end replica of a 1957 Fender Stratocaster. The attention to detail is amazing right down to the Vester stamped saddles mimicking the Fender stamps on the original 50s models. Two tone sunburst, maple neck, single ply pickguard and Kluson replica tuners complete more or less the exact look of a 1957 Stratocaster.

These are kind of a fore runner for Bravewood Guitars and a few other smaller companies who build Fender replicas.

Vester was a brand of Sam Music, a USA organisation who designed guitars but built them in Korea during the early 1990s under close supervision from the company. These were only built for three or four years before Fender effectively shut them down through an expensive lawsuit which Sam Music could not defend.

It is estimated that only a few thousand traditional series guitars got made before the Fender action. This would include Telecasters, Precision Basses and Jazz Basses as well as Strats so this is a very rare guitar indeed. No doubt Fender acted quickly to prevent a high quality USA replica company emerging to threaten their dominance. Fender even complained that the Vester name and logo was too similar to Fender.

These are great guitars for the money and sought after because of the excellent build and quality components used. They even have a fan site with lots of great info

Very cool and great guitar for the money.

I’d be amazed if the first to try it didn’t buy it.

There’s no case with the guitar.

Thanks
