Valley Arts (USA) Custom Pro T (Fender Telecaster)

Not many of these about and owned from new by me. Never been out of the house. This is a 2003 Gibson era Valley Arts. Valley Arts was the original boutique superstrat brand played by the likes of Steve Lukather and Larry Carlton. Gibson resurrected the brand in 2002 and made VA guitars again from 2003 to 2006. Mike McGuire (who's signature is on the headstock) was the founder of the brand and he worked for the Gibson Custom shop at the time. The guitar has a very chunky c profile heavily figured birdseye maple neck and board (made by Warmoth for Gibson), Locking Sperzel machine heads, Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack Tele (noiseless) pickups, ash body (also made by Warmoth for Gibson) and gold hardware. The guitar is totally stock, bar the black pick guard - the original mother of pearl one is included in the case. There is considerable checking of the nitrocellulose lacquer all over the body and you can see this in two of the photos. I have seen several other VA guitars of the Gibson era - such as the Brent Mason Signature Custom Pro T (this guitar being the basis for that one) - with the same issue which I suspect has to do with the batch of nitro used to finish these guitars off. Does not affect playability in any way and looks kinda cool. Sound-wise, this is really a tele on steroids. I doubt there's another one of these in Ireland. Comes with the original hardshell case (unmarked), all the case candy including the VA fret protector and the original pickguard. Not interested in trades. Thanks for looking.
