Thanks dude, I have fond memories of having hair and spandex in 80's so this intrigues me! Looks like something great to mod or even leave as is depending on spec. and info you shared is pretty generic across the range. For this actual guitar is it all original? What year is it?

@D5 Jimbo The Epiphone S-500 (often referred to as an ST-500 or "Epiphone by Gibson" Strat) is a "Superstrat" electric guitar produced in Korea between roughly 1986 and 1988. During this era, after Gibson bought the brand, they experimented with high-end, 80s-style shredder guitars to compete with Jackson and Charvel.
