Orville Les Paul Standard

Orville Les Paul Standard Orville Les Paul Standard Electric Guitars
€1,000

Orville was Gibson's own brand in Japan in the 1990s, as an answer to the lawsuit era. This one was made in the Fujigen factory, indicated by its ink stamped serial number.

- Long 50s style neck tenon
- ABR-1 style bridge, mounted directly into the wood
- Comfortable and fast '59 neck profile
- Tuners upgraded to Grovers
- Mahogany body/neck with plain maple top

The guitar has seen a lot of gigs and shows honest wear. A great guitar that has served me very well. I'm only letting this go to fund another guitar.

The burst is a bit lighter in real life.

@crowterman: Thanks man! Yeah, big shame it all came to an end. We were on the up and up and all! I'm in Shades of Lizzy now and Johnny (the singer) is in Lynn Thizzy. The Orville's are great. Can't fault them at all. This one has seen a few gigs which is reflected in the price. Good few dings! :)

Cheers,
Dan

Hiya, here's my two and a half pence worth.I had an Orville Les Paul and it was one of the closest to a Gibson Les Paul standard you could get so well worth the asking price. Congrats to you guys on a job well done covering TL which is not easy to do from the playing to the lead singer who really sounded like Phil Lynott so well done to you all lads and a pity ye split up.
