James Tyler Variax JTV69

James Tyler Variax JTV69 James Tyler Variax JTV69 Electric Guitars

Line 6 James Tyler Variax JTV69 for sale. Modelling guitar that does everything from strat to jazz box to acoustic tones, with single coil analog pickups for normal use, which can also be blended with the piezo. Great guitar by custom builder that's a real swiss army knife for recording or nailing tones in cover sets - also does alternate tunings for a bit of keef or jimmy Page or whatever you need, so no bringing a truckload of guitars to a gig.

Was on the line 6 forum there.
Looks like I’ll need an xps A/B box. A stereo lead from the variax to the xps, then a normal guitar lead to my fx then a mic lead to the acoustic amp.
Did you get one with your guitar?

@Garboxster there's a standard jack output (high z) which you can plug into any di box. There's then a line 6 digital output which is basically an Ethernet cable, which can connect to the Variax inputs of some line 6 equipment - helix, hd500 and so on. So using the jack you can get acoustic or electric modelling or sounds,.and you can set it up in software to blend in the sound of the pickups if you want, or just use it as an analog guitar with no modelling.

Hi,
What are the outputs on this,
Is it just one standard jack and then is there a d.i. For the alternate tunings acoustic sounds? I’m looking to run as an electric through my Valeton FX then an acoustic through an acoustic amp. Is that do-able ? Cheers
