Ibanez S470 Korean - Upgraded DiMarzio D Activators (Nickel Covers)

Looking to sell or trade my Korean-made Ibanez S470. It has the mahogany Saber body that is famously thin and lightweight, but this specific one is the version with the "S-Wave" inlays rather than the basic dots.

The guitar has been professionally set up within the last year. As part of the maintenance, the fretboard was deep-cleaned and the frets were polished, so it plays smoothly with no grit or grime. It’s currently strung with a relatively fresh set of Ernie Ball 10s, the action is low, and the intonation is spot on.

The Bridge
It uses the ZR (Zero Resistance) tremolo that are almost exclusive to the Ibanez S Series Guitars. Unlike a standard Floyd Rose that uses knife edges which wear out and get dull, the ZR runs on a ball-bearing system, making it have an extremely long shelf life with little to no maintenance issues. It’s incredibly smooth and stays in tune way better than most modern tremolos. Ibanez eventually stopped making these because they were expensive to produce and they had licensing issues, so they're becoming harder to find.

The intonation adjustment key for the trem is also present, which is screwed into the trem as standard for storage.

Upgraded Pickups
I’ve upgraded the electronics with a calibrated set of DiMarzio D Activators with nickel covers. These are professional, high-output pickups that offer incredible clarity and note definition, even under heavy gain. The nickel covers give the guitar a much more premium look compared to the stock plastic ones. You can see the full specs here:

Neck (DP219): https://www.dimarzio.com/pickups/high-power/d-activator-neck?v=24882

The Neck
It has the Wizard II neck, which is very thin and fast. Great for lead playing and soloing. It has a 5-way switch so you can get a lot of different sounds out of the H-S-H configuration.

Reason for selling
I’m just not using the tremolo much anymore and I've realized I prefer thicker necks and hardtail bridges for the rhythm stuff I'm doing now. The guitar is great, it’s just not the right fit for my current style.

Trades/Offers
Open to trades for something with a hardtail (fixed bridge) and a dual humbucker (H-H) setup.

Give me a shout if you have any questions or want more photos.
