Erm good question! From memory I bought this from Reverb and changed the pickups to EMG from the original Dimarzio (Ironic considering now I prefer Dimarzio).

Someone rubbed the serial off it, but headstock says prestige which only Japanese and bridge I'd edge pro which also is only Japanese models

I noticed that the back of your guitar’s headstock doesn’t have a serial number or the “Made in Japan” stamp, which all RG1527 MIJ guitars should have.
Could you clarify why these markings are missing in this case, and possibly send a clear photo of the back of the headstock showing the serial?
This is important to confirm that the guitar is indeed an RG1527 MIJ.
