Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet 2005 hardtail Japan

Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet. Made in 2005, Japan. S/N is 05020030, with 0030 meaning it was a one-off/ special order production. This factory configuration with hardtail/roller bridge is indeed rarely seen.

Construction: body is chambered mahogany, neck is mahogany, fretboard is ebony. Filtertron pickups, controls are master volume/pickup volume and pickup/tone selection. Adjustable roller bridge. Scale is 635 mm, nut width is 43 mm. Fingerboard radius is 9.5". Overall craftsmanship is impeccable.

Fantastic condition for a 20 year old guitar, just a couple of negligible imperfections hardware ageing etc, in line with it';s age. Frets show little to no wear. Overall feeling is like it was a case queen, rarely used. Rare guitar for Gretsch Duo jet fans. nice original grey gretsch case and a vintage leather strap.
