Gibson les paul studio
Selling my Gibson Les Paul Studio T. Beautiful guitar in superb Mint like condition. Something of interest, I posted the pic of the chamber with the WR initial on a Facebook Gibson forum to see what it might mean and got one quite interesting answer , Walter Rundlewald name was mentioned Chief Craftsman 97 to 17 , the obvious answer is the initial stands for Wine Red , but the Walter Rundewald theory is intriguing.I had the guitar professionally set up for low ish action and plays wonderfully ,It's got 490R and a 498T pickups for dirty, high output sounds in the bridge position and lower output PAF-style sounds on the neck pickup making the guitar very versatile. It's called the Studio because you could use it for just about any style you can think of. It will do high gain distortion, sweet overdrive or crystal clean. The combination of 490R and 498T humbuckers provides genuine Gibson tones with a hint of modern performance and aggression, wired to comprehensive controls and coil splitting for outstanding sonic versatility.
The Slim taper neck is comfortable in the hand without being too flat or too round either. The fret edges are rolled on all of the new Gibson 2017 models which makes them feel played in, straight out of the box and this is something normally found on Gibson Custom shop models.
The guitar does come with a protective hardshell case so you don't have to worry about it when you're out gigging.Body Style Les Paul Studio Back Mahogany Top Grade A plain maple Weight relief Ultra-modern Binding N/A Neck Mahogany Neck profile Slim taper Neck width 1.695" Heel Traditional Fingerboard Rosewood Scale length 24.75 Number of frets 22 polished frets Nut TektoidInlay Acrylic trapezoids Binding N/A Binding Style N/A Bridge Aluminum Tune-o-Matic with steel thumbwheelsTailpiece Aluminum Stop Bar with steel posts Knobs Speed knobsTuners Grover Kidneys Plating Chrome Neck pickup 490R Bridge pickup 498T
