The G&L ASAT Classic is a T-style electric guitar designed by Leo Fender after he left Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, serving as a refined evolution of the Telecaster concept rather than a direct copy.

A notable feature of the ASAT Classic is its string-through-body bridge design with individual brass saddles, which enhances sustain and intonation accuracy compared to traditional Telecaster-style bridges with fewer saddles.

G&L's build quality is very good; comparable to an American Fender. They put VERY hot pickups in these guitars.
