The Fender JV Mod 60s Telecaster Custom, Firemist Gold, is a guitar that blends classic Fender style with modern playability. It features a resonant basswood body finished in a striking Firemist Gold, and a comfortable thick soft "V" maple neck with a satin finish. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets for easy playability.

The guitar is equipped with two vintage-style single-coil pickups that deliver classic Tele tone.

A 4-way switch allows for various pickup combinations, including series and parallel wiring, while a push-pull pot on the tone control activates an out-of-phase mode for even more tonal versatility.

@mark2015w Cheers Mark.

Sell it for whatever you want and I'm really sorry to interject on your ad but I just see it too often these days. Don't rip yourself off of course but that price gouging culture going on with musical instruments at the moment is nuts. Guitars are the new classic cars.

This is probably worth that price so don't let me tell you otherwise and I feel like a dick saying it. It's better than the behringer pedal I seen on this a few weeks ago priced at 100 quid because they were discontinued. They were discontinued because they were a heap of shit. This however is a gorgeous guitar. GLWS.

@mark2015w Thanks for the Feedback. Im open to reasonable offers if you're still interested.

@Timothyy Fair enough. Always good to have feedback. I'm not desperate to sell, but I'm happy to listen to reasonable offers from anyone who is really interested.

Ebay is worse. Average 10% fee on sellers. Both platforms tend to have significantly elevated prices. Using them as an indicator of price is unrealistic. If you sell locally, the local market will invariably set the price for you, like it or not.

I wouldn't go with Reverb as an accurate indicator for anything at all. I have experience using reverb and its just a heap of crap. Nothing on it is at all realistic. The guitars never sell for the advertised prices, reverb also take a huge chunk out of the sale as well as many other preconceptions about it. Its not a good site. Ebay is fair enough. That's no bother. If that's the case no bother.

@mark2015w Hi, I have a uttle wiggle room in the price. But please bear in mind that these were a limited run, and even though they are listed on retail sites, they aren't available. They've already sold on Ebay and Reverb for 2k+, and the value is only going one way - Up. Previous limited edition Japanese Fenders have been selling for anything from 3 to 5 times their original retail price. I won't be selling for less than I paid for it, but im happy to discuss an offer with you.

Is there movement on the price? I am interested but this is valued above retail price. I was just wondering if you'd come down to a reasonable point?

@nesnerosbaz Quality wise, it's as good if not better than most of the US factory models and blows the Mexican made models out of the water.
Feel wise, it's magical.
Sound wse, it sounds like a classic Tele, with some cool extra features.
It looks awesome, too. The finish is beautiful, and the double binding really sets it off.

@mark2015w Japan is correct. Gold star for Pat 😅
In the 80s, Fender moved production to Japan because of quality issues in their US factories. These guitars were hugely popular and way better than the US made models. Recently, Fender has gone back to the Japan factory to do a set of limited run models in honour of those 80s classics, with a modern twist. This guitar was one of the first run released from that venture.
