Fender Flame - 1985 (Japanese Vintage)
A rare Japanese Fender Flame, popularized by Robben Ford. I believe it's the standard version, circa 1985. An estimated 4000 models were produced between 84-86.
It has been modified somewhere along its lifecycle, looks to be a professionally installed Killswitch. However the electrics have recently been fixed and the set up by Sound Factories Luthier Dave Travers.
Original Dual Schaller Humbuckers, with coil-split switch for different tones. Sounds quite chunky, I believe it was Fenders attempt to compete with the Les Paul, so it weighs around 3.8kg.
