Edwards (by ESP) E-LP-90LTC Les Paul Custom, Made in Japan

Edwards E-LP-90LTC (Les Paul Custom) in a beautifully aged Vintage White. For those in the know, Edwards is the Japanese domestic market (JDM) brand under the ESP umbrella. These guitars are widely regarded as "Gibson Killers" due to their superior build quality and high-end specs.

Year/Origin
• Production: Late 1990s / Early 2000s.
• Origin: Made in Japan (ESP Production).
• Serial Number: This is an "Era 1" model (Pre-2004), produced before Edwards began using serial numbers. The "90" stamp on the internal pots confirms it as the 90,000 Yen professional series.

Specifications
• Body: Solid Mahogany with a Maple top.
• Neck: Mahogany with a deep-set long neck tenon (superior sustain).
• Fretboard: Dark, tight-grained Rosewood with block inlays and full binding.
• Finish: Lacquer Taste Coating (LTC) – A thin Nitrocellulose top-coat that allows the wood to breathe and age naturally.
• Hardware: Original gold Gotoh Japan tuners and bridge. The gold has a beautiful, natural patina from age.
• Pickups: Factory-fitted Seymour Duncan set (typically a '59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge). These are the real deal, not licensed copies.
• Electronics: Quality Japanese pots and "Chicklet" capacitors.

Condition
The guitar is in fantastic vintage condition. As a 20+ year old instrument, it has a lovely "creamy" yellowing to the finish. It plays exceptionally well with a comfortable 50s-style neck profile (not too chunky, not too thin).

Why buy this over a Gibson?
Unlike modern production guitars, this features a Long Neck Tenon, a feature usually reserved for Gibson Custom Shop models costing €4,000+. It is a professional-grade rock machine that holds its tuning perfectly and sounds massive.
