Assortment of Fender Stratocaster pickups - Duncan + G&L Assortment of Fender Stratocaster pickups - Duncan + G&L Electric Guitars

Seymour Duncan JB Junior for Strat - boxed with screws and rubber tubing and wiring options. DC resistance is 14.6 kΩ. I had it in the bridge of a Strat - great pickup. €80

Seymour Duncan Duckbucker - three wire version. Boxed with mounting screws and springs. I had it in the neck of a Strat. DC resistance is 3.02 kΩ. (These pickups normally range between 2.5kΩ to 3.0kΩ). €60

Three G&L MFD pickups taken from an early 90s US S-500. The DC resistance readings are written on the bottom of each pickup and are 4.293, 4.329 and 4.367 kΩ which is typical for this type of pickup. Come with mounting screws and springs. I had these in a Strat and I cannot stress just how good these things sound. I bought an S-500 on the strength of these! €130 for the set.

All pickups are priced individually and can be posted.

Welcome to the club 😅

@axelduo: Thanks - yes. Doesn't make me any better of a player though, sad to say. I have all the dexterity of a five year old wearing boxing gloves when it comes to playing. I'll be putting a few more guitars and maybe amps up in the coming weeks.

I thought something like that must have happened as I couldn't open any of your ads. I was having a look at your sold ads, you've had some amazing guitars in your collection!

@axelduo: In case you're wondering why the ad disappeared last night - Adverts pulled it automatically and locked me out of my account because I pasted in that weblink to the 1 meg pot. All OK now after I explained what I had done!

The 1 meg pots are pretty cheap - https://www.switchelectronics.co.uk/products/1m-reverse-logarithmic-16mm-potentiometer?currency=GBP&variant=45366034825525&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23537844848&gbraid=0AAAAAqEgT0Cu4KGVUEhCRH_C0cfqVbaeA&gclid=CjwKCAjwhZDUBhBGEiwAbi5bjv5MkCnHARmpZdAhHY9KzU0lwPIWoyW5WDCZ7G13IAP5vi-5X-Au2hoCFTgQAvD_BwE

I just added some pics of the resistance readings for the MFDs - taken today.

@axelduo: No plans to be in Dublin any time soon I'm afraid. Can post them to you of course. Was having a look there to see if I had any 1 meg Ω or 500 kΩ pots lying about but no. I just used these with 250 kΩ pots when they were in the Strat.

Nice one, I was just wondering if you had them as the reverse 1k pots are a bit harder to find. Would you ever be in Dublin btw?

@axelduo Google is your friend! “The standard G&L S-500 uses a unique Passive Treble and Bass (PTB) control system. The standard potentiometer values are 250k-ohm for the Volume pot, 500k-ohm (or 1 Meg-ohm depending on exact vintage/spec) for the Treble pot, and 1 Meg-ohm reverse-taper for the Bass pot.”

@axelduo I don’t actually. I just wired them up as I would a normal Strat. So, not as per the S500 with the passive treble and bass controls. Worked fine. You can get PTB schematics on line I think. The S500 also has a mini toggle to link the bridge and neck pickups.

Hi, would you have any of the PTB wiring for the g&l pickups?
