1997 Gibson Blueshawk

For sale my 1997 Gibson Blueshawk Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar with a Cherry Red finish. The Blues Hawk features a maple-capped poplar body, a mahogany neck (25 1/2-inch scale), rosewood fingerboard and luxurious gold hardware. It's lightweight and well balanced, with a comfortably contoured back. Diamond-shaped inlays plus the single-ply binding add a distinctive touch, and the narrow neck profile sports a slight V-shape for better playability. The bridge features a low-profile string-through-body-system that contributes to the deep resonance and admirable sustain of the instrument. The electronics are distinctively Gibson, the combination of two "Blues 90" pickups with their three-way position pickup, this one has had the varitone professionally replaced with an extra tone control added. The pickups are original and they include a dummy coil to keep the hum and buzz usually associated with p90’s under control. This guitar is in great shape with several indents and marks and light hardware tarnish, pictured as best I can. Several screws have been replaced with brass coloured flatheads, I have no idea why, it was like that when I bought it. Everything else is all original and free of any breaks or repairs. Included with this guitar is the original Gibson gig bag. The price reflects the modifications.
