These were a special run of guitars produced to commemorate the Stratocaster's 40th Anniversary in 1994. Built in the famed Fujigen Gakki Factory for the Japanese Market only they are becoming quite collectable models.
Based on a 1957 model Stratocaster it features a select alder body, comfortable "Oval" profiled maple neck with a "Foto" flame veneer with authentic vintage-style  hardware and pickups. Finished in custom colour Lake Placid Blue.

Condition : Overall good condition for its age, all original except for a replaced volume knob, some light fretwear in the cowboy chord positions but overall plenty of life left in the original frets. Some areas of split lines of the flame film veneer as is common with these but it's under the clearcoat and can't really be felt when playing. The Lake Placid Blue finish has Aged to a turquoise hue which looks great.
